The 3 Key Things for Beautiful Healthy Skin

Who doesn’t want radiant, glowing, youthful looking skin? The good news is that you can have it if you make a point to incorporate these three essential things into your diet: nutrition, exercise, and quality skin care products. Let’s start on working from the inside out.
Your Diet
What you eat plays a very important role on the quality of your skin. If you eat a lot of junk foods and greasy fast foods, then chances are your skin will reflect your diet choices. Greasy foods will give you greasy skin, and junk foods that are filled with preservatives and other junk will only age your skin all the more.

Skin-safe foods are all about supplying the right nutrients to your body so that you are able to maintain healthy skin. Fish like salmon and cod are loaded with Omega-3 fatty acids which both moisturize our skin, and fight off free radicals and other toxins that can cause early aging.
Green tea is also loaded with anti oxidants and vitamins C, D, and K.
Berries are becoming the new super food as they offer a whole lot of benefits for several different areas of our body. Black berries, raspberries, strawberries and cranberries are all loaded with anti oxidants as well as fiber and vitamins.
Thank your parents for making you eat your broccoli when you were younger! This vegetable is high in vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, and is loaded with calcium and fiber. This vegetable is particularly great for anyone with problematic skin, as vitamin A will help decrease the oil production of your skin, vitamin K helps prevent bruising and blemishes, and vitamin C helps fight off the signs of aging as it is an anti oxidant.
Your Exercise
You don’t have to throw in 1 hour hardcore work out sessions to help benefit your skin, but moving certainly will help. When you get your body moving, you get your circulation going. Having good circulation is important as it is our blood that transports the nutrients we obtain from food to different areas of our body, including our skin.
Having a 30 minute walk a day, going for a bike ride, or even doing some household chores like sweeping and vacuuming are some easy ways to incorporate more exercise into your life.
Your Skincare Regime
You would not believe how many women do not follow a proper skincare regime! All skin should be cleansed with an appropriate cleansing product that is made for your skin type. A toner should be used, as should a quality hydrating moisturizing cream.
There are a whole lot of different products out there, so focus on what your skin type is before buying any skin care products and go from there. Different skin types require different care. A teenager’s skin is by no means the same as the skin of a 75 year old woman, so you need to be sure to choose products that are tailored to your needs.
